This is a clean, crisp Pinot Gris that reflects the terroir of the Creston Valley. On the nose find rich aromas of fresh orchard fruits. A medium body texture, with a flavor profile of poached pear and faint honey; finishing with a zesty spine of refreshing citrus and minerality.
We tried a few new things with out Pinot Gris this vintage. 25% was barrel fermented and aged to add texture and complexity. Partial malolactic fermentation to soften the wine, followed by 4 months of lees contact.
