At Red Bird Estate Winery, every detail of our journey has been a labour of love, and the construction of our iconic winery building and tasting room is no exception. Built over the winter of 2022, our vibrant red structure is more than just a building—it’s a symbol of our passion for crafting exceptional wine and cider, and creating a space where our community can gather to enjoy the beauty of the valley.
A Space to Sip and Savour
The winery building, with its striking red metal exterior, is a standout feature in the landscape. Its two large overhead doors open onto a patio overlooking our home vineyard, offering breathtaking views of the rolling hills. Whether you’re sipping wine on a summer afternoon or enjoying cider on a crisp fall day, the setting feels like a slice of Tuscany nestled right here in the valley.
The Grand Opening
Our Grand Opening on June 13, 2023, marked a significant milestone for Red Bird Estate Winery. Just in time for the first Annual Hop To Vine Hustle on July 8, 2023, the celebration brought together locals and visitors alike for a day of wine, food, and fun. Being part of this inaugural event was an incredible experience, and it was the perfect way to showcase our new space and the dedication behind our craft.

“Red Bird Estate Winery has amazing wine and cider and is in one of the most beautiful settings in the valley.
When you sip one of their local selections on the deck of their red-clad tasting room, you could easily be in Tuscany with the rolling hills in the background. Not only is the wine great, the way they produce it and manage the land is also. They had a herd of sheep in the vines doing some natural mowing. What a beautiful sight."
